The Challenge

How to tell the huge story of diamonds and De Beers in under two minutes.

De Beers Institute of Diamonds is the world’s leading educational diamond organisation. They design technologies and deliver training to enhance knowledge of diamonds across the supply chain.  
De Beers needed an overview for new starters that dramatised the journey of a diamond, from its start in life to a treasured item, highlighting De Beers’ expertise in exploration, mining, grading, marketing and retail.

The Solution  
A short film and supporting content that showcases the De Beers legacy, processes and values. The combination of bold graphics and live-action gives it a warm and positive atmosphere, while the hand-drawn illustrated style creates a personal and unique touch.

Results  
The film and content is a core component of De Beers’ training programme and is used across the world at trade shows to showcase De Beers’ expertise.
